No more iPhone X

No iPhone X From This Summer: ‘lack of interesting innovations’

Some important news is ahead for the Apple customers. A report by AppleInsider acclaimed by KGI Securities’ analyst Kuo says the result of the low sales of the iPhone X would lead to the cancellation of the model with production ceasing in the summer. This decision from Apple makes the first ever Apple product to be canceled after just one generation since iPhone 5C in 2014.

The report said the main reason for the cancellation of the model is the disinterest in China and the rise of the other models and also main competition comes from other than iPhone 8 which can deliver slightly better than iPhone X.

The news about the report carries a survey from Cowan which claims the interest about iPhones has hit a historic low. The rise of competition from Huawei is also a reason for the disinterest in the Chinese market about the Apple products and Apple is planning to bounce back with immediate products by the upcoming fiscal year.

That being said, it is not all doom and gloom for Apple. While the iPhone X will not bring the company much-anticipated sales ‘Super Cycle’, the report states that Apple will see modest 5% growth in the first half of 2018. This is also the first time Apple has released three premium models for the first time.

Apple believes that it will have a better end to 2018 with 10% growth as iPhone X is going to be replaced by a total of three new iPhone X-inspired designs: like a second generation 5.8-inch iPhone X, 6.5 iPhone X Plus and also a 6.1-inch iPhone SE which will be released with a Face ID. Apple is expecting this will excite the Chinese market again.

None of the new models will be having the Face ID notch that Apple is working on for 2019 iPhones.

Kuo’s report says this move by Apple will result in the company’s downfall in shares by an ample.
