List of Apple iPhones and iPads Which Support the Forthcoming iOS 11 Update

At the WWDC 2017 event two days ago, Apple announced its next generation operating systems for its product portfolio. While the Apple iPhones and iPads scheduled to get iOS 11 later this year, the Apple Watch will get watchOS 4 and the Apple TvOS also upgraded to a new version.

Ever since Apple announced the iOS 11, various iPhone and iPad users across the globe are curious to know whether their device supports the latest version or not. Apple officially announced the iOS 11 supported products.

Supported Apple iPhones:

  • iPhone 7
  • iPhone 7 Plus
  • iPhone 6s
  • iPhone 6s Plus
  • iPhone 6
  • iPhone 6 Plus
  • iPhone SE
  • iPhone 5s

Support Apple iPads:

  • 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2nd generation
  • 12.9-inch iPad Pro 1st generation
  • 10.5-inch iPad Pro
  • 9.7-inch iPad Pro
  • iPad Air 2
  • iPad Air
  • iPad 5th generation
  • iPad mini 4
  • iPad mini 3
  • iPad mini 2

Sadly, the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c won’t receive the update because Apple is ending the support for 32-bit processor devices. Also, the iOS 11 supports only 64-bit apps and games. The iPod 6th Generation will receive the iOS 11 update.

The iOS 11 will bring host of new features including the revamped control center, advanced Siri, new system animations, a new Siri home, etc. Apple released the Developer Beta 1 of the iOS 11 for the above mentioned devices. The stable update will be rolled out in Fall this year.
