Apple to replace the affected iPhone 7 after iOS 11.3 update causing mic issues

Apple has recently released their new iOS update i.e. iOS 11.3 for many iOS devices including the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, the update seems to be not good enough for the users of iPhone 7 phones. Many of the users have complained regarding the mic issues on their iPhone 7 devices after iOS 11.3 update. Apple to is aware about the issue and the giant is now replace the affected iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones for absolutely free of cost. 

According to new reports, Apple has acknowledged this issue on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus after the iOS 11.3 update. And interestingly, they are coming up with a proper fix for the issue. They are going to repair your affected iPhone 7 phone for free. If possible, they may also replace it for free if the issue is big and unresolvable. That’s how Apple is giving the answers to the competitors who are always ready to deem the image of the giant in the global market.

Furthermore, some other reports have said that Apple an internal Apple Authorized Service Provider document that reportedly details a known issue on the mentioned device and some of them have encountered this issue during their phone calls and live FaceTime video chat on their respective device after the new iOS 11.3 update. Many of the iPhone 7 users have also complained regarding the speaker button is not working after the update.

Of course, it’s an extremely rare issue and an update can’t go wrong with a certain number of devices at the first place. The issue looks pretty simple and it can be easily resolved as well.

In order to fix the issue, Apple’s technicals have advised the users to disconnect all the Bluetooth connected devices and other connections from the device. Once disconnected, reboot your device and check if the issue is resolved or not. This is the simple fix Apple has suggested to the users.

However, if the Speaker button is not available, then there might be a serious issue and the diagnostics would show you “device could not detect dock” or “accessory not supported.” If you see any of these issues on the device, Apple would take care of it and it will repair your iPhone 7 device for free without charging anything. Interestingly, if your device is not in the warranty period, you could still get your device repaired and the giant will not ask you to pay for that too.
