Honor 9i: Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei planning to launch Honor 9i smartphone in India on October 5th. The company has made an official statement in a tweet from its Twitter handle. Honor India has also been teasing about the launch of the new smartphone with #ExploreWithHonor hashtag for a week now.
The official statement came as a reply to a question from an Indian twitter user. The company had revealed that October 5 as the launch date. The Honor 9 launch event for India is going to be held at Taj Exotica in Goa starts at 11 AM.
Display of Honor 9 is made up of a 2.5D curved glass with a 5.15-inch full HD (1929×1080 pixels). The 2.4GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor, has powered this phone and is backed up with a Mali G71 MP8 GPU and 4GB/6GB RAM. Apart from hug 64GB/128GB of internal storage, Honor 9i has an option to store more data with a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS wrapped under EMUI 5.1 and is strengthened from a 3200 mAh battery for quick charging support.

Honor 9i has a dual rear camera set up with 20 Megapixels and 12 Megapixels with a phase detection autofocus, touch focus, Geo-tagging, face detection, panorama, HDR, and a dual tone LED flash. The primary rear camera has a f/2.2 aperture and a 4K video recording. On the front, an 8-Megapixel shooter with a f/2.0 aperture has been provided to capture selfies.
Like all the new age smartphones, the Honor 9 is also coming with a fingerprint scanner that is located on its front panel attached to the home button. The USB in the device is a Type-C port with an Infrared sensor. The smartphone also has a Dual SIM ray, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi (a/b/g/n/ac), 3.5mm headphone jack and NFC. The handset measures 147.3 x 70.9 x 7.45 mm and is weighing 155 grams.
