Gionee A1 Gets a New OTA update; Now Offers Bokeh Selfie Mode and Multiple Languages

Strengthening its Indian selfie movement #Selfiestan, Gionee has announced the roll-out of a new Over-the-Air (OTA) update for its recently launched device, A1. Aimed at providing a ‘never before’ experience to its young and on the move consumers, the OTA update offers a host of customised experiences to users to enjoy music, videos and taking selfies on the year’s first flagship by the country’s leading youth company.

The latest update will provide Gionee users with the beautiful experience to take Bokeh selfies. It is the pleasing or aesthetic quality of out-of-focus blur in a photograph, which gives one an experience like a professional photographer.

Besides, the update will OTA will provide ten regional system languages –Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. It will provide convert phone system language to the desired language so the user can change languages as per their convenience. Gionee has launched this feature to empower every Hindustani with a personalised connect to their device.

Additionally, it also offers a three-year subscription of McAfee anti-virus for users to have a safe and smooth experience.

Gionee has recently launched A1, the first flagship product of the year in India. The A1 offers longer battery life with ultrafast charge and enhanced picture quality to capture great selfies.

Equipped with a 16MP front camera which offers clearer and more beautiful selfies, A1 allow users to capture, enjoy and share all their favourite selfie moments without having to worry about battery drainage thanks to a long lasting 4010 mAh battery and ultrafast charging capability.

The A1 is also loaded with a faster and safer fingerprint unlock and the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with Amigo 4.0 for a holistic and satisfying smartphone experience.

The Gionee A1 boasts a full metal body made out of A6000 aircraft grade material that is used in making premium cars and aircraft. The phone runs on an Octa-Core 64 bit process that gives better performance and less power consumption.

Powered by a 4GB RAM, The A1 enables smooth multitasking and easy operation, while 64GB internal storage (Expandable up to 256GB) provide ample storage space.

The phone is equipped with the fastest fingerprint sensor, unlocking the phone in just 0.2 seconds, for top-notch safety. For the humid Indian conditions, the sensor unlocks the device even with moist fingers.

The fingerprint sensor also activates ‘Edgebar’ allowing users a hub for quicker access to their favourite apps.
